Lead Analyst
Social Listener, Genuine Whisperer

The combination of collaboration and passion, that's kind of where I sit and I think Genuine as a whole is the same. We all really like to get involved and we all work well together.
As Senior Analyst, Lindsey tracks, reports and interprets data to help our teams and clients evaluate the effectiveness of our work. As she puts it: “I work to make websites better for everyone.” From sites to campaigns, if we did it, she knows - in detail - just how it’s doing.
“I like variety,” says Lindsey. “We sit between many different departments and work with many different clients. There's always something going on.” Some days it’s analytics tracking for websites. Others, it’s AB testing, social listening and reporting, or research to inform paid search campaigns. Every day, Lindsey helps us get better and smarter.
Lindsey most identifies with our values of collaboration and passion. Collaboration because in her role, Lindsey sees firsthand how much better our work gets when we’re working together. Passion because without that, work is just work.
“The combination of collaboration and passion, that's kind of where I sit. And I think
Genuine as a whole is the same. We all really like to get involved and we all work well together.”

Lindsey is not just devoted to our work, she is committed to our culture. As the Chair of Being Genuine, our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Committee, Lindsey helps us address cultural challenges like staffing and recruiting and creating an open and inclusive environment.
From working with consulting groups to hosting agency-wide conversations on mental health and diverse experiences, taking part in this effort is a passion for Lindsey. “I’m deeply interested in learning and growth and sharing that with others.”
In the UK, where Lindsey is from, “you don’t major or minor, you choose a subject. I did chemistry.” After completing a four year chem program, Lindsey went on to work in a lab in France, then into a PHD program where she focused on biochemistry of bacterial proteins.
“The bit that I liked,” she says, “was the data part. The plotting, and modeling and working out what’s going on and then reporting out on that and the reading up.” Having realized this, Lindsey decided to change course, and “go into something different where I could use data.” This led to her first analyst job in Leeds, and then to us here at Genuine. “I'm always telling younger students: don't worry about picking your entire life,” she says. We agree, and we’re just grateful she picked us.
