Paid Search Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of the client’s products, competition, industry, marketing goals and objectives
  • Provide guidance and input through all stages of SEM including strategy, execution, and day to day management
  • Perform research, analyzing analytics data and developing key insights and action plans based on campaign results
  • Provide analysis, QA and insights for client reporting
  • Optimize the effectiveness of SEM/PPC to ensure positive ROI
  • Interpret performance reports to provide actionable insights and analysis
  • Work closely with media and account teams to ensure campaign alignment with client goals and overall media strategy and plan integration
  • Coordinate strategies the media team to ensure a fully integrated execution
  • Stay current with best practices and on top of industry trends
  • Ability to interact with the client and support presentations, meetings and walk the client through reports and answer questions thoughtfully and concisely
  • Owner of the account structure and uploads and manages keywords, ad creative and ad extension
  • Accountable for pacing, tracking and managing campaign budgets

Experience/Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in paid search engine marketing, ideally within an agency
  • Demonstrate strong ability to think strategically, excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, problem solving, and, decision-making skills
  • Deep understanding of how Paid Search / SEM interacts with Display Media, Paid Social, SEO, Mobile, Social and Attribution
  • Experience with media research and planning tools; Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint and Google’s Suite of Products
  • Ability to manage simultaneous tasks in a fast-paced technology-oriented environment
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork
  • Understanding of paid search and how paid and organic search works together, as well as the role that search plays within media to support the client goals and objectives
  • Knowledge of online measurement tools such as Comscore, Nielsen, or Hitwise
  • Experience managing SEM campaigns through 3rd party bid management software
  • Experience with and ability to help identify and onboard bid management software and other leading PPC tools
  • Knowledgeable and on top of all the latest SEM/PPC industry trends
  • Experience integrating with other online media channels as well as SEO
  • Google AdWords and Analytics Certification
  • High level attention to detail
  • Self-starter with strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • High level of integrity
  • Bachelors’ Degree Required
