Project Management

The Project Manager will work closely with team members across all capabilities supporting a portfolio of healthcare clients and/or projects to deliver various digital work. The Project Manager will manage the daily activities of various small to mid-sized projects including landing pages, microsites, website redesigns/builds, brand strategy, and digital campaigns. The Project Manager will develop clear and detailed project timelines, dependencies, milestones, staffing plans, and tasks for concurrent projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Participates in client meetings and manages in partnership with Account Management as needed.
  • Participates and helps facilitate client kick-off meetings as directed by the Account team.
  • Establishes and maintains a positive, professional, and effective working relationship with junior clients. Understands key project details and client objectives.
  • Has a solid understanding of client business challenges and project business objectives.
  • Manages multiple small to mid-size projects from concept to completion with minimal oversight depending on team makeup, client needs and engagement size.
  • Creates project schedules for moderately complex or multi-phased projects with minimal oversight.
  • Understands task dependencies and demonstrates confidence in communicating impact of schedule slip due to missed deadlines.
  • Demonstrates competence in drafting top down and bottoms up estimates.
  • Validates the quality of any client deliverables, including presentations and project deliverables.
  • Has baseline knowledge of bottoms up staffing/costs, responsible for monitoring project costs and course correcting burn.
  • Coordinates across capability to capture risk responses.
  • Leads internal meetings with clear agendas, goals, objectives, and desired next steps. Sets clear expectations for tasks and deliverables.
  • Escalates to clients request out of scope work in a timely fashion; recognizes the opportunity for a change order.
  • Easily identifies when project deviates from the project plan/SOW.
  • Drives the scope drafting completion process, i.e. provide timelines, understand R&R’s, completion dates.
  • Manages project teams, including providing feedback on work and performance.
  • Manage resourcing for project teams.

What You’ll Need

  • 3 years of project management or account experience is required.
  • Healthcare experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience using Project and task management software (Confluence, JIRA, Smartsheet, Basecamp, etc.).
  • Demonstrates proficiency in agile and scrum.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (AEM, Drupal, .NET etc.).
  • Prioritizes and balances time, actions, resources, and initiatives to ensure achievement of goals.
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills and adapts communication style to fit the needs of the audience.
  • An effective problem-solver on a day-to-day basis.
  • Understands the impact of how their tasks each day affect the project or client experience and shows a passion and willingness to assist and support others as needed.
  • Effectively manages expectations with clients and internal teams.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • The right candidate may be located anywhere in the US but must be willing to work east coast hours. We believe in the power of bringing people together so the right candidate must be willing to travel to the office as needed (at least two times a year) and as needed for clients, pitches, or internal meetings. If the right candidate is local, even better! We encourage staff to work in our Boston office 1-2 times per week.

In Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City the standard base pay range for this role is $70,000 – $91,000 annually, depending on relevant factors including experience, internal equity and market considerations. This base pay range is specific to Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, and New York City and may not be applicable to other locations.
