What is the Role?

The Digital Content Manager will be responsible for overseeing the content life cycle.  You will envision, creatively execute, and optimize digital interactions, and discover how we can best deliver content. Develop the standards and best practices for content creation, distribution, maintenance, re-purposing and re-imagining into other assets.  

The idea candidate is a self-starter, proactive, motivated and enjoys working with multiple teams. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, both verbally and written, and can accurately express their ideas in these mediums. They should be comfortable working with tight timelines and making tradeoffs in order to meet business deadlines while still advocating for the best customer experience.  The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-off environment where you proactively problem solve and propose solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Responsible for the content lifecycle - update management and retirement process, from scoping of requirements to implementation across websites for content changes including new product introductions and messaging.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously amid ambiguity and proactively forge partnerships across internal teams to drive results.
  • Work with strategy, project management, and development teams to strategize and build intuitive web pages for the most impactful navigation, presentation of stories, profiles, and user.
  • Enter web content, both copy and other media, according to various content templates and assisting documentation.
  • Ability to manage relationships with writers and creators and streamline editorial processes (content calendars, communication, etc…)
  • Lead key digital experience governance activities.
  • Review content, including knowledge base technical documents, user communications, and training materials, and prepare for end-user consumption.
  • Work with internal site publishers to plan and release content initiatives  
  • Inventory, monitor, and review content library for accuracy and relevance.
  • Responsible for working with internal and external site publishers – whether they are freelancers, contractors, customers, etc.
  • Participate in project planning, reviews, sprint and release planning, and demos.

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, managing, and maintaining dynamic data-driven pages and websites and Content Management Systems in Drupal.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in working with third-party vendors/freelancers to develop new website tools/functionality Web training experience.
  • HTML/CSS/DHTML/PHP development familiarity.
  • Familiarity with setting up tracking for digital campaigns.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and agency partners
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendation
  • Demonstrated desire to relentlessly champion ideas
  • Demonstrated presentation skills
  • BA/BS degree preferred
