Im trying to figure out my career.
do you do like makeup, and nails in there? or just hair..
i want to start somthing with like hair, makup, and like massage, or somthing
is that a salon, or like a day spa?

I worked at a salon that did hair nails makeup waxing facials etc.. But i think mostly the makeup and massage and stuff is more of a day spa type of place…

I’m planning a spa day with my friends this weekend

- Always wear sunscreen, to keep from getting wrinkles
-Do a face mask once a week to keep your pores clear
-To apply perfume, spray it once into the air in front of you and then walk through it (Eyes closed)
-When applying blush, smile so you can see the apples of your cheeks, apply the blush there, and then blend towards the hairline
-Only apply foundation where your skin tone is uneven
- Concealer goes on before foundation
-Sephora has tons of stuff you can try for free and the nice ladies will even give you makeovers, but it is nice to buy something, and kind of hard to resist
-Apply a primer before lipstick to make it stay longer
-When washing your hair, finish with a cool water rinse because it will close your hair cuticles and keep your hair shiny
-Nicole by OPI has these nail polish "markers" that make it really easy to apply. Nic’s Sticks, they have them at most drug stores
- Tone and plump the skin on your face by putting an ice cube into a plastic bag, and rubbing it gently all over your face for a couple of minutes
- Freeze damp tea bags (green tea preferably) and put them on your eye lids for 5-10 minutes to de-puff them

Im allways into the ‘natural’ way of using and do things and help the enviroment, but this time i wanna save some cash for my holiday, but my home spa day is coming up so i wanna pamper my self but i dont wanna end up spending £30 on a one day beauty product. Is there any recipies for stuff like : face masks, Lip balms , hair rinses e.c.t

the face mask below is oatmeal I think. I’ve heard of mashing bananas and adding honey and putting it on your face. Cucumbers reduce redness on the face, for hair rinses I use 1tbsp of baking soda in 2 cups of water to wash the oil out and 1tbsp of apple cider vinegar in 2 cups of water for shine. Doesn’t make your hair smell bad or anything. Lip balms I’m not sure about. They typically have a waxxy compound in them you can’t do yourself very well. good luck!

How to make a Party Hall into a Spa/Beauty Salon (12 year old Party)?

Hopefuly I will be able to rent a hall for my boyfriends neice’s B-day party that I am planning. At the beging of the party her Girl Friends from school are going to come over and get their nails done, hair, makeup, made put on face masks etc.. but I wasnt sure how I could set it up to look cute and be functional. I wanted to have somekind of comfy chairs to use but the ones in the Hall are metal and not comfy at all I though about maybe putting pillows on them or something. I was going to set up a table that had all the nail polish on it and makeup and a sign in sheet like a real beauty salon. Have some face towels and some bowels to dip their feet and hands into but I am not sure how to make it all come toghther and what kind of bowels to use. Sugestion on what to use and how to set it up would be great thanks!

go to target or wal-mart and purchase normal garden chairs, or what not, but a coshin on it, put a fuzzy blanket on it…thats what i did for a friend of mine’s little sister and it worked out great! have fun with the party! i hope it works out!
